Carol Ross-Burnett is a singer, songwriter, producer, speaker, and author. She sings in Christian and secular settings and presents workshops on a variety of topics.

Carol is a member of the praise outreach ministry team of Billy Davis, Jr. & Marilyn McCoo (Soldiers for the Second Coming). She is also a prize-winning songwriter who has served as a judge and song evaluator at regional and national Christian music workshops.

Her publications include a variety of articles, and stories in Chicken Soup for the African American Soul and Chicken Soup for the African American Woman’s Soul. Carol participated in dramatic readings on two national Chicken Soup for the Soul book tours.

In 2015 Carol successfully launched the Platform Workshop for Christian Songwriters in Los Angeles as part of her vision to provide resources and opportunities for Christian artists. Babbie Mason was the featured songwriting instructor and will return for the 2016 workshop.

Carol is a dynamic, sought-after speaker and trainer. Her Ladies, Let’s Get Real! workshop is an interactive, empowering, healing and music-filled environment for women to share both their challenges and their victories and where Christian experts share their wisdom about relationships, inner and outer beauty, and wellness.

Carol holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.A. from San Francisco State University. She resides in Los Angeles with her husband. They have two adult sons, one adult daughter and one grandson.
