April Christina Farmer is a gifted vocalist and speaker who has traveled the world over, sharing her gifts and talents with audiences great and small. A powerful worship leader, April has been blessed with an unforgettable ability to draw others into the presence of God, having served the body of Christ in that capacity for over 20 years. As a speaker, she delivers a message to help people thrive in their relationships with God, to understand themselves more fully and find more fulfillment in personal relationships. A popular speaker at conferences, concerts and retreats, April Christina has ministered alongside artists such as Babbie Mason, Charles Billingsley, and Joann Rosario-Condrey, to name a few. She recorded her debut album in 2012 entitled “Overwhelmed”. The project is chock full of songs about the overwhelming love of God. While her heart for worship is clearly evident in her music, her heart for worship extends well beyond lyrics and melodies. Life’s trials and victories have honed April Christina’s message. That message is one of hope, redemption, perseverance, and the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Having overcome every obstacle and societal statistic thrust upon single, teenage mothers, April pursues every opportunity to offer a lifeline to other people who face insurmountable odds. She has served as a mentor for at-risk youth, teenage mothers, single women, and regularly facilitates parenting classes for men and women in her local community.
In addition to being a worship leader and Bible Teacher, April Christina is the Director of Mentoring, Crisis, and Counseling at Buckhead Church in Atlanta, GA. She is also the founder of Love GMO Ministries and co-owner of Farmer Music LLC. April and her husband David Farmer Sr. are empty nesters. Together they enjoy old classic movies, musical theatre and cooking healthy. They make their home in metro Atlanta, Georgia.
